Jonathan J. Fleming

Jonathan has been creating, financing, and running early stage companies in the life sciences for over 39 years in the USA, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

During his career he has raised more than $1 billion for early stage investment funds which made more than 200 investments in life science companies resulting in more than 24 IPOs, more than 40 M&A transactions and numerous lifesaving products coming to patients.

Over his career Jonathan has been the CEO of a neuroscience company, chaired numerous boards of directors, and been a director of both public and private companies. He has participated in the creation of numerous companies and worked with 6 different Nobel Laureates in his career to create and build companies based on their work. Since 2004 Jonathan has been a senior lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management, co- teaching the core course: Strategic Decision Making in the Life Sciences.

Jonathan holds an MPA from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School and a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.

Amy Fleming

Amy has been active in neighborhood groups, many activities within the Newton Public Schools, Jewish Community groups and her Temple for over 30 years. She is currently a member of the Board of Mayyim Hayyim and serves as a Mikveh Guide. In addition, Amy is a member of the Temple Beth Elohim Leadership Council and is a Co-Chair in the Caring Community Committee.

Shari Cohen

VP Finance and Administration

Shari has more than 20 years of financial accounting experience working in the life sciences and venture capital industries.  She comes from Oxford Bioscience Partners, where she most recently was Controller. Shari holds a B.A. from Tufts University and an an M.B.A. in Health Administration from the Frank Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk University.
